Stage Light Color Temperature

Stage Light Color Temperature

The color temperature of the lamp refers to the color temperature of the light emitted by the light source after passing through optical glass devices such as CMY, color films, glass patterns, and lenses. Generally speaking, the color temperature of the light emitted by the light source will decrease after passing through the optical system (note: there will also be rise, but rarely), and the same light source with different lenses, the color temperature data changes are not the same. Therefore, in the high-end spot and profile lights, generally added the filter to correct the color temperature. They are divided into CTB and CTO. CTB is used to increase the color temperature to offset the lowered color temperature due to the optical system, so that the color temperature of the light from the lamp is maintained substantially the same. CTO is used to reduce the color temperature. The range of commonly used CTO is 2700 ~ 6500K.

The inconsistent color temperature of the light (also referred to as "color inconsistency") is caused by the inconsistent color temperature of the light source?

Not really. CMY, glass pattern and lens may cause. Due to the consistency of the coating of any optical device, the color temperature of the light will be affected. Therefore, the consistency of color temperature is a systemic problem, it is recommended that customers add color filter for correction when designing the lights
